New to Oooo...I Do Love a Cake!!
I am now running Children's cupcake parties!
I can come to you, or you can come to me (saves you the mess!).
The children will get to make, bake, and decorate 6 cupcakes to take home and enjoy.
They will learn how to make buttercream as well as pipe with it, use various cutters and decorate using sugarpaste.
Two hours of messy, yummy fun!
Parties run from home (mine or yours) - Max 6 children, Min age 7.
Larger parties of up to 12 are catered for at http://www.wickfordextendedservices.co.uk/ - Please contact them for a price. It will still be myself that runs the party, it will just be in a bigger venue!
Please book well in advance as I can only run these classes when I haven't got an order in the books.
I am fully CRB/DBS checked and a copy of my certificate can be provided on request.

TUTORIALS and DECORATING COURSES
Beginners Decorating Course
The course will include:
- baking the 'perfect' cake
- an introduction to sugarpaste, which includes colouring paste and covering a cake board.
- an introduction to petal paste and modelling paste.
- making a fairy
- making a wired and non wired rose
- making wired butterflies
- using stencils, patchwork cutters, dusts, embossing mats, moulds
- piping with buttercream
- decorating 6 cupcakes to take home and enjoy!
Course Dates:
02/07/13 - 30/07/13
I only take 3 people per course and I will only run these courses if there is a minimum of 2 people attending. The course costs £99. A 50% non refundable deposit is required to secure your place with the balance due 2 weeks before the course starts.
Giant Cupcake Course
You will learn how to decorate a giant cupcake using the following methods:
- Sugarpaste
- Buttercream
- Flower making (Gerberras and blossoms mainly)
- Icing a cake drum

These are a 1 day, 4 hour course which will start at 12.30pm and end at 4.30pm. The cost of this course is £45. The cake, all the icing and all the equipment you need for this course is supplied.
